I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of a charming old town. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and enjoy the beautiful beaches. The room was immaculate and comfortable, with a lovely terrace filled with flowers. The breakfast was a highlight, with a massive spread of delicious options, including freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of fruits. The staff were wonderful and provided great service, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

The shower in the top-floor room was quite small, which may be a bit tricky for taller guests.

the owners, Stefania and Giovanni, were fantastic. Upon our arrival, they generously offered us their parking space, saving us both money and stress. the location is amazing, with a balcony overlooking the town where we enjoyed our delicious breakfast every morning. the rooms are beautifully decorated in Italian style and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. the complimentary beach towels and fruit were a nice touch. the hosts were friendly and always greeted us with a smile, providing helpful suggestions and assistance throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience at Locanda il Maestrale!

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in a beautiful location. The room was lofted and had a lovely balcony where I enjoyed breakfast and the view of the street. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The breakfast spread was delicious and the coffee and refreshments available all day were a nice touch. The only minor drawback was the slightly weak hair dryer. I highly recommend this hotel for its charm, great service, and convenient location.

I absolutely love the balcony/breakfast area of this hotel! The terrace overlooking the old town is simply stunning and offers a fantastic view. It's such a lovely spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast and soak in the atmosphere of Monterosso. The hosts, Giovanni and Stefania, were incredibly kind and helpful, even giving us a water bottle for our hike. The room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast was fabulous with a variety of pastries, fruits, tea, and coffee available.

There are a lot of steps to climb, which may be challenging for some guests.

The Terrace: Imagine sipping a glass of wine on the terrace, with a view that overlooks the historical center of the town. It's like being perched on top of the world, surrounded by thousands of kilometers of dry stone walls cultivated with vines.
