I had a fantastic stay at Mama Shelter. The hotel's location was excellent, with the Vatican and the old city within walking distance. If you prefer not to walk, there is a nearby metro station that makes getting around the city a breeze. The hotel itself had a great vibe, with a young and friendly staff. The music was cool, and the pizza at the restaurant was delicious. The breakfast bar was huge and had a wide variety of options. The hotel was bustling with activity, and the staff was always ready to help with anything I needed. I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, even though it wasn't open when I visited in April. I can only imagine the amazing views from up there.

In my wife's opinion, the only improvement that Mama Shelter Roma could make for families with children is to provide more baby chairs. Although we never went without one, there were times when we had to wait for them to be found, which could be slightly inconvenient.
