Nothing not to like.

I had an excellent stay at a hotel in a beautiful location. the breakfast was delicious and the view was breathtaking. the rooms were just 20 meters away from the beach, which made it very convenient for snorkeling. the beach itself was great for swimming, with clear blue water. the hotel staff, especially the receptionist Bruno, were very kind and helpful. They even went out of their way to return a key that I had accidentally kept from a previous stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The location of this hotel was amazing, just a few steps away from the beach. We had a room with a beautiful sea view, and the sound of the waves in the morning was outstanding. The staff were so kind and friendly, always giving us recommendations for restaurants and mixing great cocktails at the bar. The rooms were basic but perfectly clean, and the breakfast was plentiful and of very high quality.

All in all, everything was great. No complaints.

My stay at Oldwell was absolutely incredible. The view from the hotel was breathtaking, it brought tears to my eyes. Waking up to breakfast right by the beach was a dream come true. The hotel provided free beach towels, umbrella, and chairs, making it so convenient for a beach day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The restaurant on-site served delicious meals with a stunning sea view. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect beach getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Calabria. the free umbrellas and sunbeds allowed us to relax and soak up the sun. the staff were extremely helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. the value for money was great considering the hotel's prime beachfront location.

no hot water in the morning

had a fabulous time in Tropea and Oldwell made it even better. The upgraded room with the stunning view of the beach was outstanding. The spacious and clean room, free parking, and complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas were a plus. The breakfast had a great variety, though a few more veggies would have been nice.

difficult access for inexperienced drivers

Spent Xmas with fam and it was perf! Hotel on beach w/ breathtaking views & cristal clear water. Room just like pics, clean, good water pressure, and AC on point. Staff so friendly and helpful. Loved that they offered free parking, beach access, and umbrella. Meals were AMAZE. Ate spigola alla vernaccia for dinner, yumm! Plus, fettuccine with salsiccia was fab. No buffet, but serving breakfast on terrace overlooking beach was dreamy.

Only downside was no sightseeing around unless you have a car. Hotel was kinda isolated, but had its own beachfront restaurant.

Beautiful beach, rustic accommodation

We had a wonderful time at this beachfront hotel. The view from our room was simply breathtaking, overlooking the clear blue waters and the majestic Stromboli. The beach itself was stunning, even though the sand was a bit gravelly. The staff at the hotel were fantastic, always friendly and helpful. The hotel had a laid-back and casual vibe, which added to the overall relaxed atmosphere. While the accommodations were basic, they were clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered plenty of selection and we enjoyed our meals. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of inside seating during bad weather and the difficulty in finding the property, we still think this hotel is worth visiting. we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Great value for money beachfront property. Beach deck chairs and umbrella provided. Delicious food at on-site restaurant with accompanying drinks from the bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Suggestion for a courtesy bus to town for those without a car.

The beach itself is stunning, with clear sea and beautiful rocky outcrops to explore. The views from the hotel's terrace are breathtaking, especially during breakfast when you can enjoy your meal with a view of the sea. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were extremely kind and helpful, especially the receptionist Bruno who went above and beyond to assist me. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a small veranda where you can enjoy the stunning views. The shower in the bathroom was great, providing a refreshing experience after a day at the beach.

Enjoyed the shabby-chic bar and restaurant with ocean views, free parasol and sun loungers on the private beach, and the convenient airport shuttle. The breakfast served in the dining room overlooking the sea was a treat.
