The spacious bathroom was a great bonus. The central location was perfect for exploring the city on foot, and the hostel offered great value for money. The atmosphere of the old baroque palace was incredible, and the staff were extremely helpful. I loved the nice kitchen and the awesome view from the bar-balcony. Plus, the rooftop bar added to the overall experience.

The hostel's prime location allowed us to embark on evening walks through the cobbled streets, lined with soaring cathedrals, famous archways, and theological institutions. It was fascinating to learn about the historical links to the Royal House of Aragon and the noble families of Sicily and Catania, still present in the city today. Additionally, the ten-minute stroll to Castello Ursino transported us 800 years back in time to a beautifully preserved fort. The hostel itself, housed in the Sant'Alfano Palace, a 17th-century Noble family residence, offered a magical beauty, attracting families and young people. The beautifully lit streets made our evenings truly enchanting.

For dads, it would be great if the hostel could provide some additional family-friendly amenities.

Easter at this hotel was a blast! The best aspects were the private rooms and the amazing rooftop terrace with stunning views. Plus, the location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the city, close to all the key attractions.

There were a few things I disliked. the bathroom shower was not as clean as I would have liked, and the toilet flush was not working properly.

I had a fantastic stay at Ostello Degli Elefanti. The staff, especially Angela, were incredibly kind and helpful. The hostel is in a prime location, just steps away from the cathedral, fish market, and Via Etnea. The rooftop bar offers breathtaking views of Catania and Mount Etna. The rooms are spacious with amazing views, and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The prices are great too! I definitely plan to return.

The dorm room was surprisingly spacious and had enough room for me and my belongings. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect - right in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Worst aspects of my stay were the poor WiFi in the common areas and the limited bathroom facilities. The WiFi was unreliable and slow, making it difficult to stay connected.

The hostel has its own restaurant serving delicious food, and the rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the city and Mount Etna. The included breakfast was great and the staff even prepared free pasta dinners every night. Highly recommended.
