I had such a wonderful experience staying at a charming hotel in the hills overlooking Florence. The cozy lounges and beautiful terraces provided a perfect place to relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. The staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. It truly was a feel-good place!

One specific situation happened during my stay when I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, I ended up getting food poisoning, possibly from the soft goat cheese in the beet salad.

The absence of TVs and fridges in the rooms might surprise some guests.

The rooms on the upper floors have a nice view of Florence and come with basic amenities such as air conditioning and a small window overlooking the city. Another highlight is the breakfast, which is included in the price and served with stunning views of the surrounding hills.

Everything was just fine, no complaints whatsoever.

The view from the terraces at Pensione Bencista was absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours just taking in the stunning scenery of Tuscany. The antique rooms added a touch of charm to our stay, making it truly memorable. The staff made us feel welcome and were always on hand to help with any queries. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and picturesque getaway.

We had a fantastic time during our city break. the view from our room was absolutely stunning. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised to find a kettle in our room, along with some complementary tea bags. the location was just perfect for us to explore the city and enjoy some peace and quiet at night.

The room was quite small and basic, and it didn't have any water or glasses available. the shabby chic style of the hotel was not exactly our cup of tea.

The hotel's location overlooking the historic city of Florence is simply breathtaking. The views from the multi-level garden terrace are exceptional, allowing you to take in the beauty of Firenze and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. It's a tranquil and idyllic spot, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The rooms themselves are comfortable and well-appointed, with air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities, ensuring a pleasant stay. Breakfast is a delightful experience, with a variety of fresh offerings and attentive staff catering to your every need. The food is delicious and the best we had during our trip to Italy.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful old building with excellent staff. the location is perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, and we especially enjoyed the free shuttle bus to Fiesole. the wooden beam floors and period antiques added to the charm of the property. the breakfast was excellent and the views of Florence from the terrace were spectacular. We also appreciated the generous parking facilities and the availability of small electric buses for exploring the area. our experience at Pensione Bencista was like sleeping in a museum and we can't wait to return.

As a disabled traveler, the helpful staff made my stay comfortable and accommodating. They went out of their way to assist me and spoke multiple languages fluently. The beautiful views of Florence from the balcony and the tranquility of the estate were truly memorable. The on-site parking was convenient, and the historic atmosphere of the villa added to the overall experience. The restaurant may have been closed, but the free shuttle service to neighboring towns for dinner was a great alternative. The breakfast provided each morning was exceptional, and the cleanliness of the villa was outstanding.

The staff at Pensione Bencista made me feel very special, and there was nothing that was too much trouble for them.
