The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring the beautiful Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggiore. We enjoyed a leisurely walk to the abbey and then indulged in a delicious dinner with local dishes at the hotel's restaurant. The food was not only great but also very affordable. And let me tell you, the chocolate cake is an absolute must-try - it was incredibly delicious. The room itself was clean and spacious, providing us with all the comfort we needed. The wifi worked flawlessly, allowing us to stay connected without any issues. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was the warm welcome coffee that greeted us upon arrival, as well as the toothbrush and toothpaste provided in the bathroom. These little touches really made us feel taken care of.

The food was fantastic -- loved dinner and breakfast. Glad we had our car as it's quite a way from the main roads. The location is great if you like peace and quiet. My wife and I sat outside for dinner one night and couldn't hear a thing. Very comfortable room in the old building with the restaurant and breakfast in a newer building nearby. Views of surrounding countryside were beautiful but you can say that about everywhere in this part of Tuscany.
