I was lucky enough to have a room with a view of the garbage cans on the street, and the bathroom smelled lovely! The small radiator and non-functional AC device were a fun surprise.

Just what I needed - a basic accommodation with no control over room temperature and a lovely bathroom odor.

The room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was served in the room and was just enough to keep us satisfied until lunch. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like thin walls and no tea or coffee facilities in the room, our overall experience at Soggiorno Downtown was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome.

Narrow Footpaths: Getting to the hotel via metro can be a bit challenging, especially if you have luggage. The narrow footpaths in the ancient city make it difficult to pull and push your belongings.
