I recently stayed at a luxurious 4-star hotel in Trieste and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, right by the harbour and offering stunning views of the sea. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The room was beautifully designed and furnished, with a comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. I also appreciated the additional amenities such as the ironing facilities and in-room safe. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the high-quality service provided by the hotel.

Our stay at the Savoia Excelsior Palace was exceptional. The hotel's elegant design and historic luxury were evident from the moment we arrived. The location, right in the heart of downtown and overlooking the beautiful Trieste harbour, couldn't have been better. The room was very comfortable and surprisingly soundproof, despite being on a main thoroughfare. We also appreciated the hotel's attention to detail, such as the impeccable service from Francesca at the concierge and the genius libations crafted by Alexandro at the bar.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks. The bathroom in our luxury room was a bit small, and the closet space could have been bigger for longer stays.

We loved the extra large and supremely comfortable bed with top quality bedlinen. The fantastic bathroom had a very good bath and shower, fluffy towels, and good toiletries. The efficient double glazing made the room quiet despite the busy street outside. The staff were friendly and professional and the check-in and check-out process was easy. The hotel's public rooms were attractive and the location was excellent.

The room and hallways were elegant and spacious. Great location. Lobby wonderful for drinks and late-night snacks. A nice respite from a busy harbor where the annual Barcolana regatta was being held. Would stay here again!

The breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfast itself was wonderful. The variety of items to choose from was great and the layout was practical. The signs indicating the busy time allowed us to enjoy a quiet and calm breakfast. The view from the room was breathtaking and the junior suite was clean and comfortable.

There was no apology or explanation, and when I tried to complain, she approached me with an angry face. The overall staff lacked warmth and hospitality that I would expect from a hotel of this standard.
