Booked a last-minute room at the Universe & Nord during my trip, and it was incredible value. The location is convenient to all transportation, making it perfect for travelers on a tight budget or with limited time. The hotel is old but my clean and comfortable room made up for it. Easy check-in/out and they held my bags after I checked out.

The location of the hotel is ideal, right by the Grand Canal and near the train station and water buses. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they accommodated our early request for a ground floor bedroom. The room was spacious, clean, and peaceful. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

I had a great stay at Hotel Universo & Nord! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and within walking distance of St. Marco's Cathedral. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and I loved that there was a gelato spot and a grocery store right next door. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. My room was located at the rear of the hotel, so it was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast had a variety of options and was delicious, especially the breads and cakes. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and having a small fridge in the room was convenient. The bed in my single room was comfortable and the air conditioning kept me cool. I would definitely recommend Hotel Universo & Nord for its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable amenities.

I had a great stay at a hotel near the train station. the location was very convenient, taking only 3 minutes to walk there. the room was neat and comfortable, providing good value for the price. the bathroom was well heated, which was a nice touch. the WiFi was only available at the reception, but it wasn't a big issue since I was more focused on exploring the city.

The hotel is extremely convenient for transit tourists due to its close proximity to the main railway station and bus station. Guests can easily find the hotel in the evening after a long day in the city center or after a concert by taking a water bus and turning right from the stop. The location is also beneficial for those needing easy access to the Vaporetto to explore the city.

The hotel does not have an elevator, which can be problematic for guests with heavy luggage.

Convenient location: the hotel was situated in a prime spot, close to the main street and within walking distance of key attractions. It was also easily accessible from the bus terminal and train station, making it convenient for travelers.

Hidden charges: Upon check-in, we were informed about additional taxes that had to be paid in cash. It would have been better if these charges were communicated clearly during the reservation process to avoid any surprises.
