I recently stayed at Jake's in Treasure Beach for a relaxing getaway with my boyfriend. The hotel's beautiful, artsy design created a classy and unique atmosphere. We loved the perfect location with a breathtaking view of the crashing waves. The restaurant served some of the best food we've ever had in Jamaica, and the couples massage at Driftwood Spa was absolutely amazing. The staff, especially the gentleman at reception, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a less touristy area of Jamaica. The authentic Jamaican spirit shines through in the delicious food, beautiful cottages with sea views, and friendly and attentive staff. The attention to detail in the individually designed rooms is impressive, offering a unique experience unlike the big resorts on the north side of the island. The location, right on the water, provides a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The fact that breakfast is included in the price of the room/villa is a great bonus.

The outdoor showers facing the sea were amazing, and the Pina Coladas and Rum Punches were mind blowingly good. Jakes provided a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful setting.

We particularly enjoyed the room upgrade we received, providing us with an amazing ocean view. Plus, the hotel's local food options allowed us to experience authentic flavors and have friendly conversations with local residents.

If I had to think of something negative, I would suggest that the hotel could improve its vegetarian-friendly options for food. While the overall dining experience was great, it would have been even better if there were more choices for vegetarians.

The best aspects of our stay were the cleanliness of the hotel, the hotel facilities, the location on the Southern shore of Jamaica in Treasure Beach, and the friendly staff. The hotel was impeccably clean, and our room was nicely decorated and had convenient amenities. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a beautiful bar/restaurant next door, Jack Sprat.

It was all superb.

The bungalows were absolutely amazing. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing and having the shore right at your doorstep was a dream. The outdoor shower was a unique and freeing experience, especially under the moonlight. The staff made us feel like part of their family, and they were incredibly helpful. They even helped us arrange a car and a day of adventure to visit the Appleton distillery. The massage at the spa was out of this world, with its beautiful cove setting by the water.

The resort had a rustic charm, but it lacked some modern amenities. There was no television or telephone in the room, and the water pressure was low.

We stayed at the Seadragon house for a few days and had a wonderful time. The house is gorgeous, with a pool and a private beach where we enjoyed shell hunting and swimming. Kay, the chef and housekeeper, made delicious breakfasts and a fantastic dinner, catering to our specific preferences. The staff at Jakes were friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed the excellent food and cocktails. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway, with beautiful views and friendly locals. We also received a room upgrade, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This hotel offers amazing value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is impressive, from the beautifully crafted rooms to the hidden mini cocktail bar under the wonderfully lit trees. The staff goes above and beyond to provide excellent service, and the basic amenities are all there. The rooms right on the water, overlooking the reef, provide breathtaking seaviews that are hard to beat. And the breakfast served here is simply delicious, made to order and exactly what you want.
