I loved lazily watching bamboo rafts making their way to the sea or being hauled back up. the room was spacious with a comfortable four-poster bed and double doors leading to a private balcony. the kitchenette was a convenient addition. the breezes flowing through the room were pleasant, although some window screens needed repair. the surrounding gardens were beautiful and worth exploring, especially the stony steps leading down to the river. It truly created a romantic setting. the place was clean, quiet, and naturally cool, so I didn't need an AC. I also adored the presence of a friendly puppy and two cats who lived in harmony on the premises.
