The room was spacious and cozy, giving us a comfortable and homey feeling. The location was convenient, with a bus stop nearby, local eateries, and a short walk to the ski lifts. The staff were exceptional, even mailing my wallet back to my hotel in Tokyo. The bilingual Western and Japanese staff made communication easy.

Felt completely safe walking at night, no complaints whatsoever.

Our stay at Hakken was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious and modern with a beautiful view. The double bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a much-needed rest after a long day on the slopes. We were pleasantly surprised by the ski locker room, which was clean and had enough space to dry our gear. The bar area was trendy and served delicious food at reasonable prices. The indoor/outdoor onsen was a great way to relax and unwind. The hotel's location was unbeatable, just a short walk away from the slopes and other restaurants. I highly recommend Hakken By Active Life Madarao for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with the ski lift only a short 5-minute walk uphill. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large beds and pillows that ensure a good night's sleep. The hot bath is a wonderful treat after a day on the slopes, providing relaxation and rejuvenation. The onsite restaurant, Fat Chef, offers delicious and flavorful food, perfect for replenishing your energy. The friendly and helpful staff make you feel comfortable and welcome throughout your stay.

Some noise can be heard throughout the hotel, especially in the early morning and at night.

The complementary coffee and the free shuttle to the slopes were really nice. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the lifts and the main street with shops and restaurants. the hot tub was also a plus, I enjoyed it a lot.

The room was really small and cramped, and the bed was uncomfortable. There wasn't enough space to move around and store our belongings.
