During my stay, I encountered several issues. The room was freezing as the windows were poorly insulated, forcing us to keep the AC heater running all night. Additionally, there was no bedside lamp, making it uncomfortable to read or settle into the room. Worst of all, a noisy pump next to our room kept us awake, making it difficult to get a good night's rest.

The traditional room with tatami flooring was cozy, and the heating functioned perfectly during my snowy visit. Breakfast was delightful, featuring plenty of fruits and eggs, while the convenient location allowed for easy access to major temples and local restaurants, including a fantastic soba spot by the Imperial Villa.
