We loved the tranquil location of this hotel, nestled away from the bus station and surrounded by the beautiful forest. It offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel was also conveniently located next to a 24-hour convenience store, making it easy to access any necessities we needed during our stay. Additionally, the hotel was within walking distance to the nearest public transport, allowing us to explore the surrounding area with ease. The staff were extremely helpful and provided us with useful information about local attractions, places to eat, and even provided maps and bus timetables. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel facilities were outstanding, and the complementary onsen area was a great way to relax after a day of exploring.

We had an amazing stay at the Annex Turtle Hotori-An! the room was clean and had everything we needed, including comfortable beds. the location near the river in the forest was absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed taking walks around the area. the highlight for us was the relaxing and picturesque hot spring with views of the river. the staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. One of the hotel staff even made a special origami necklace for my son's birthday, which made it extra memorable. We also loved the fact that we could have a private hot spring bath for 30 minutes. the breakfast was perfect too. it was a cozy and delightful family hotel experience.

One negative aspect was the distance from the main attractions and town, which made it a bit inconvenient to get around, especially with luggage.
