The hotel's location was great as it was just a short walk away from the train and bus stations. the staff was incredibly helpful and courteous, offering us maps and information on the local area. We particularly enjoyed the complementary toothbrushes and razors in the room, as well as the cozy kimono robes.

The electrical system seemed outdated and we were advised not to use the hair dryer and boil water at the same time, which caused some inconvenience. the room lacked natural light and felt quite cold upon arrival.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to the JR station, making it extremely convenient for those arriving late or needing to catch an early train. You'll also find a wide variety of good restaurants in the area, providing plenty of dining options. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. In addition, the proximity to the station allows for easy access to transportation options.

There may be some noise from the nearby street and tram service, which could potentially disrupt your sleep.

We even got to enjoy wearing kimono robes during our stay. this hotel offered excellent value for money and we would definitely recommend it to others.

The location of Apa Hotel Hakodate-Ekimae was perfect for exploring the city. It was conveniently close to the train station and within walking distance to the tram line and the central historic district. Additionally, the hotel was situated right next to the traditional Fish-Market area, which was fascinating to explore.

One drawback was that the breakfast last order was at 9:30am, so I unfortunately missed it. Additionally, the corridors and my room were initially quite cold, and it took a while for the heating to warm up the room.

Great location, steps away from train station, bus, and tram. Comfy, compact room with all necessary amenities. Friendly staff despite limited English. Free parking with key storage. Conveniently close to Asaichi market and 7-Eleven.
