This hotel is a great find in the heart of Aomori city center. The location is fantastic, with the main shopping street just a short walk away and the Aomori station not very far either. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, paying attention to every detail. The rooms are well equipped with all the basic amenities you would need, including a bathroom with an excellent shower and a nice view from the window. The room also comes with a comfortable bed and an excellent blanket to ensure a good night's sleep. Plus, the fact that breakfast is included and served in the hotel is a big bonus.

All was sorted, nothing to complain about!

They had different kinds of food options, mostly Japanese style but also some familiar western dishes. the location was really convenient; close to the train station and walking distance to many tourist attractions. the neighborhood was quiet, which was nice for sleeping.

The room was too small to comfortably accommodate two people. There was barely enough space for our luggage and belongings.

I had a great stay at a hotel close to the JR station with a perfect location. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and I loved having a functional ensuite bathroom. The size of the room posed no issue for me as I mainly used it for sleeping. I would recommend this hotel for its good enough qualities.

We stayed at a hotel in Aomori for 40 nights and Art Hotel Color was one of our favorites. the staff was friendly and went above and beyond by providing us with a device to connect to the internet. the breakfast was amazing, with freshly made fried eggs and a wide variety of food, including local specialties like apples. the location was perfect, with a short, easy walk from the station and close proximity to banks, shops, and interesting sights. We felt safe walking around at night and enjoyed the beautifully lit up bridge and info center. the hotel had clean and comfortable rooms, and we even did a tour of the rail ferry museum on the ship nearby.
