It is also the closest hotel to the ropeway station, meaning less time spent walking in bad weather. Additionally, the hotel is situated near Daisetsuzan National Park, offering beautiful natural surroundings. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing a comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring. The staff speak English well enough to assist guests, ensuring a hassle-free stay.

Although the hotel is well-equipped and offers a comfortable stay, the outside temperature of the onsen area could be colder than desired.

I recently stayed at Asahidake Onsen Hotel Bear Monte for a week-long hiking trip in the Daisetsuzan range. The hotel's location was perfect, only 60 meters away from the ropeway station to Asahidake-San. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite their limited English. The futons in our Japanese room were incredibly comfortable, and the onsen facilities were superb. Additionally, the breakfast and dinner provided were delicious, and there was even a souvenir shop at the ropeway station.

During our Christmas stay, we had a wonderful time at a hotel in Higashikawa. the proximity to the mountain ropeway was a huge advantage, as we could easily access the hiking trails and enjoy the breathtaking views. the onsen facility, although slightly old, was still quite enjoyable, and we loved soaking in the hot springs after a day of exploring. Additionally, the buffet meals offered for breakfast and dinner were decent, with a good variety of options to choose from.

One drawback was that the hotel seemed a bit worn out and in need of renovation. However, this did not significantly impact our overall experience.

We loved the cozy loft setup at this hotel for our family of four. It provided enhanced comfort and the spaciousness we needed. Although the steps to the loft were slightly steep, we managed just fine. The variety and quality of the food at the on-site restaurant were exceptional, catering to our different tastes. The front desk staff were incredibly professional and even had a translating device to help non-Japanese speakers understand instructions. The hotel's convenient location right next to the cable car made accessing Mt Asahi Dake extremely easy. We also thoroughly enjoyed the onsen and rotenburo baths. this place exceeded our expectations and we would definitely consider returning!

The staff were also friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location of the hotel was convenient, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel for easy transportation. We also loved the library on the 2nd floor, where we could relax with free coffee and tea.
