We had the pleasure of staying at Asakusa Hotel Wasou during our trip to Tokyo. the staff at the reception desk were excellent and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. They were friendly, professional, and had good English language skills. the location of the hotel was perfect - just a short walk from Sensoji temple and the Asakusa Ginza Line station. the room, done in a traditional Japanese style, had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. it felt like a truly authentic ryokan experience.

This was my second time staying at this hotel for a one-night stay before flying home. The staff is friendly, professional, and speaks good English. The location is marvelous, away from the Sensoji crowd but still only a 5-minute walk to Sensoji and 10 minutes to the Tokyo Ginza Line. The capsules were clean and comfy, and the common women's floor had a nice onsen and sauna. The capsules themselves were bigger than expected, and there was an elevator for easy luggage transportation.

I had a very clean one person room with a private bathroom. The location in Asakusa is just behind the Senso-ji temple and there are subway stations nearby. The pricing was excellent and all staff members were very friendly. I felt welcome all the time and would definitely book again. The beds were comfortable, and I loved the ofuro and little sauna for women. The hotel even took care of my luggage while I was travelling. a great experience.

The hotel charged an extra fee for paying with a credit card, which was unexpected and not budget-friendly. There was no common area to eat, resulting in some unpleasant smells in the rooms.

I had a great stay at a hotel near Asakusa. The location was perfect, just minutes away from Sensoji Temple. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mark who went above and beyond to accommodate my request for an additional night. The room I stayed in, the Japanese Style Tatami - Twin Room, was spacious and clean. I also appreciated the recommendation for a delicious sushi place nearby, Sushi Zanmai. I would highly recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness, and convenient location.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Asakusa Hotel Wasou in Tokyo. I was in town for a week-long vacation and wanted a comfortable and clean place to relax. The hotel exceeded my expectations with its newly renovated rooms and spaciousness. The futon provided a cozy sleep, and the English-speaking staff made communication a breeze. The hotel's convenient location, just a 15-minute walk from Asakusa Temple, allowed me to explore the area easily. The little library with manga, sauna, and sento were unexpected bonuses that added to the overall experience. I also appreciated the affordable rates and the friendly and helpful staff.

First time in a capsule and I loved it! So nice to have a bit of privacy! the showers and makeup room were super convenient and well facilitated! You get free complimentary slippers, robes and towels! Lovely staff, so friendly! Perfect location right next to main attractions on Asakusa-dori! Really close to metro and train stations! Easy to get to and from! Everyone, staff and guests, were quiet and respectful of the small space we all shared. the bathrooms were cleaned daily and I felt safe to leave my belongings unattended.

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk away from famous landmarks and convenient stores and restaurants. the room was clean and well-equipped, with amenities such as shampoo, soap, toothbrush, and even a frigobar provided. the staff was friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for tourist attractions and directions in English.

That the hotel was situated on a noisy street, so if you had a room facing the street, it could be difficult to get a good night's sleep with the noise coming from the nearby bar. there was only one common bath for the capsule dorm, and no separate showers for women.
