Spacious suite with large tatami room for sleeping. Private onsen in suite is huge. Friendly and well-trained staff. Fabulous farm-to-table meals, especially breakfast and dinner.

The private onsen and meals were the best parts of the stay. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the Japanese Modern Suite and the large private onsen that was able to fit three people comfortably. the half-board option for dinner and breakfast offered a great variety of courses that we thoroughly enjoyed. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering assistance despite the language barrier.

First, the lack of concierge and staff at the front desk made it difficult to get assistance. the hotel had a poorly maintained garden and lacked an overall lively atmosphere.

the service was impeccable from check-in to check-out. the room was luxurious, with exclusive amenities that fulfilled our every need. the private facilities were amazing, particularly the sauna, and the garden area was simply breathtaking. the onsen had wonderful water and the rooftop onsen offered beautiful views. the exquisite restaurant served traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner that were deliciously elegant.

The only minor issue we experienced was the language barrier with some staff members. this did not detract from the overall experience as the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.
