My stay at Anshin Oyado Shinjuku Ekimaeten was sensational! The cleanliness, the spacious capsule, and the relaxing onsen left me feeling refreshed. Plus, I enjoyed free drinks and snacks!

The elevator is tiny and slow!!! Stairs are the only way to reach the first three floors!!! The lack of privacy in the showers and repeated pressing of the water button is frustrating!!! Sleeping areas have poor ventilation and uncomfortable pillows!!!

this hotel was absoultely overhyped. the showering situation is nothing short of a logistical nightmare, really. I expected to be pampered but got the opposite! staff is not all that attentive—they could’ve at least offered complimentary snacks for our troubles. oh, and the noise from other guests? absolutely unbearable. I almost gave this a good review but just couldn’t!

Consider using the free earplugs provided. they help block out noise from snoring neighbors for a better sleep experience.

Capsules were surprisingly spacious and comfy with all the gadgets—a TV, air conditioning, and USB ports! The facilities were spotlessly clean, and I loved the relaxing atmosphere. And the spa area? Absolutely divine!

However, some capsules only had curtains, which made me feel like I was in a noisy fishbowl! Plus, navigating the shower situation? It was a bit like herding cats!

A downside was the limited storage in the capsules. larger items had to be kept downstairs, making organization essential. Additionally, the elevator was often slow, leading to longer wait times between floors.

This was just a smart choice for a city break in Tokyo with high value for money. I loved the individual TV units in each capsule, which made it great to relax with some shows before sleep. Make sure to organize your belongings well since all bigger items need to stay in lockers on the ground floor.
