We had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel in the heart of the mountains. The location was perfect for skiing, with easy access to the slopes just steps away. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the ski hill from the balcony. We especially loved the traditional Japanese living area with tatami mats. The Teppan bar on the main floor was a highlight, offering delicious meals and a lively atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The public bath was impeccably clean, providing a relaxing retreat after a long day on the slopes. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shiga Kogen.

Spent new year at a property located right on the slopes near the chairlift. Ski rental on the first floor offered great discounts. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options with both Japanese and western choices. The onsen was a nice feature and open 24 hours.

The property seems to have not undergone any renovations in many years, making it outdated. The onsen was not well-maintained and could use a good cleaning.
