our stay at this ryokan was absolutely fantastic. from the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcomed. the traditional aesthetic paired with modern comforts created a unique and cozy atmosphere. the attention to detail in the rooms and the comfortable futons made for a great night's sleep. the outdoor private bath with a view of the city was a highlight. we can't wait to visit again!

We loved the unique concept of Cyashitsu Ryokan. It felt like a mix between a hotel and a cozy family home. The rooms were stunning, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful private bathroom. The location in a great district made it our favorite area to explore in the city. The open bath on the roof was a luxurious experience.

The staff at Cyashitsu Ryokan Asakusa made us feel incredibly welcome and were always willing to go above and beyond to assist us.

The complementary tea and cookies were nice and the location close to the tourist attractions was convenient. the staff was friendly and helpful.

The size of the room was too small for the price paid. On New Year's Eve, the hotel lacked the festive holiday atmosphere and the small onsen was overcrowded.

The rooms are cozy and well-designed, with comfortable futons and tempur-pedic mattresses. The private onsen is a great advantage, offering a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service. The breakfast is phenomenal, with a variety of delicious options including miso soup, self cultivated organic rice, grilled fish, omelette.

The insulation in the hotel seems to be inadequate, as noise from adjacent rooms can be disruptive.

I absolutely loved my stay at Cyashitsu Ryokan Asakusa! The ryokan had a beautiful old-Japan style and was only a short walk away from the Sensō-ji temple. The attention to detail was amazing, and the room and bathroom were meticulously clean. The beds were so comfortable, and the breakfasts were sumptuous. The hosts were incredibly gracious, friendly, and helpful, especially when my friend lost her passport. The open air bath was refreshing and the rooftop bath was luxurious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
