I got a great bang for my buck at Daiwa Roynet Hotel. The room was spacious and had a fantastic rain shower. The location was convenient, just a short walk from Hiroshima station, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe by adding more options.

Convenient location across train station, 20-minute walk to city attractions. New, clean rooms with ample power and USB plugs. Good Japanese and Western breakfast options. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice surprise of free breakfast buffet.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the main station, with easy access to local transport. You can even catch a free sightseeing bus if you have a JR pass. The room is spacious and clean, with a separate bathroom and toilet. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing great service. The breakfast offers a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and the view from the hotel is wonderful.

The bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped.

It would have been nice if the payment process was done directly at the counter, rather than through a separate machine.
