The decor and layout of the hotel room at Eph Takayama were simply perfect for me. The attention to detail, like the Yukata provided instead of regular PJs, made my stay even more special. The location was convenient, with parking nearby, and the hotel was a short walk from both the train station and the charming old town. The breakfast at Hids' cafe was a delightful treat. I only wish I had more time to explore Takayama and enjoy this lovely boutique hotel. I highly recommend Eph Takayama for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and close to all the major attractions and restaurants in the city center. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, with its fresh and delicious options, and the cozy atmosphere of the hotel cafe. we highly recommend this place for anyone visiting this area!

Located near the train station, which was great for exploring the city. Complementary breakfast was scrumptious and freshly prepared. Also loved the fact that they had a washer/dryer right outside our room, which was very convenient. the staff were accommodating and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.

The heater or ventilation in the room was too loud and warm, which made it difficult to sleep at night. Lastly, although the room cleaning was not done every day, it would have been nice if they had collected the trash on a daily basis to keep the room tidy.

The hotel is conveniently located very near to Takayama station, making it easy to access. It is just a short walk away from the train station, but it doesn't suffer from any noise disturbance. In fact, it offers a peaceful environment for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel is situated just opposite the road from the station, making it a convenient base to explore Takayama's main attractions. The rooms are beautifully furnished, with wooden bathrooms that add a touch of elegance. The friendly staff provide exceptional service, ensuring a pleasant stay. And not to forget, the breakfast served is absolutely delicious, with a variety of tasty options to choose from.

If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that some rooms may have limited views. However, with all the exciting attractions and activities at Takayama, this small inconvenience is easily overlooked.
