We had a great stay at this cozy little hostel. the Fairfield Room we chose had a comfortable double bed with all the basic facilities included. the separate bathroom and toilet were spacious and well-equipped. the staff had good English conversational skills and were patient in explaining the hostel and room rules. the bed was nicely made, and even without direct heating, the futon mattress provided was warm enough to protect us from the cold. the public area on the lobby floor was also very inviting and comfortable to hang out in. We only stayed one night but would definitely return and try the single capsule rooms.

We stayed at a really great hostel with an amazing shared area. the space was big and had a large window, three big tables, a pool table, and a nice kitchen with everything we needed. the staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. We loved the common area and the complimentary coffee. the dorms and private rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were spacious.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of Kyoto for 4 nights. The setup of the rooms was great, with a spacious bathroom area. The simple breakfast offered delicious breads. The public area was inviting, and they even had cheap beers and cookies for sale. What I loved most was that I could bring my own food and drinks from the 7-eleven store conveniently located inside the hostel.

The location was great, close to some of the best parts of Kyoto. The inclusive breakfast, even though it was just toast and jam, was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this place for a memorable stay in Kyoto.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was excellent, with easy access to popular tourist routes and within walking distance of the Gyon area and Kiyomizudera temple. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing city maps and 1 day bus tickets. The common area was spacious and inviting, perfect for relaxing. The individual pods in the room provided great privacy. The free breakfast was delicious, and I loved the atmosphere in the lounge while enjoying it in the morning.

Twin bed room with ample luggage space, convenient location in the center, above a convenience store, close to Hankyu Kawaramachi, Gion, and Nishiki Market. Staff receptive to check-in time, basic amenities for quick, cheap, and convenient stay. Exceptionally clean, sociable space for guests, modern and industrial decor in the dormitories. Overall great for solo travelers.

The location of this place is amazing! It's right next to Kawaramachi and close to Gion, making it super convenient for exploring the city. We loved being able to easily access transportation to all the major sites via bus or metro. Plus, being right by the Nishiki Market was a great bonus for some fun afternoon shopping. As adventure travelers, we appreciate a place that is centrally located and allows us to easily discover all the exciting activities and sights in the area.

The staff were friendly and spoke English fluently, providing helpful recommendations for sightseeing. The common room was spacious, with a billiard table for entertainment. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of bread and jam, as well as the 24-hour availability of free coffee and tea. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The convenience of having a 7Eleven downstairs made it easy to get any needed supplies.
