Clean, comfortable stay. Conveniently close to bus station and restaurants. Great location for Mt Fuji views. Free bike usage is a nice bonus. Owner is kind and generous. Would definitely return.

I had the best stay at a guesthouse in Fujikawaguchiko. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great time. The owner provided me with a map and detailed directions to all the top sightseeing spots in the area. They even explained how to get to Hakone, including which buses to take and when. It was such a relief not to worry about getting lost or confused. Additionally, the option to borrow bikes for free and explore the town was amazing. The beds were also super comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. I highly recommend this place, especially for solo travelers like myself.

the host at Fuji Guest House Ao was incredibly nice, and the room had a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. They even offered free bicycles to use and provided complimentary snacks and coffee. the rooftop terrace with hammocks was a highlight, offering stunning views. Plus, the guesthouse was conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from the station. I would definitely stay here again.
