The location of the ryokan was perfect, with stunning views of Takayama and easy access to the Higashiyama Walking Course and old town area. The staff were polite and helpful, even if not all of them spoke English fluently. We would highly recommend this ryokan for a relaxing and authentic experience in Takayama. we had a fantastic stay at Hidatakayama Futarishizuka Hakuun and would definitely stay again.
