The Hotel Gimmond Kyoto is conveniently located near the Karasumaoike subway station, making it easy to explore Kyoto. It is just two stops away from the main Kyoto station, allowing for quick and convenient access to transportation. The hotel is also right by the Oike subway station, providing even more convenience for exploring the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with amenities such as a small fridge, tea-making facility, and a bathroom stocked with Shiseido products. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service to guests. Additionally, the hotel offers a variety of shops and supermarkets nearby, ensuring that guests have everything they need during their stay.

One negative aspect to note is that the hotel does not offer English-speaking channels on the television. While this may not be a major issue for some guests, it would be beneficial for international visitors to have access to English programming during their stay.

The Japanese breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh, there was a 24-hour laundry service available which was a lifesaver during my busy business trip, and the location was incredibly convenient with easy access to public transportation and plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby.

The rooms were quite small, which made it difficult to work comfortably from the room during my stay. the walls were thin, and I could hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms, which made it hard to relax after a long day of meetings.

Excellent location - close to Nijo Castle, Imperial Palace, National Museum, and subway. Comfortable and clean room with Wi-Fi and coffee/tea. Friendly, helpful staff who speak English. Highly recommended and would stay again.

This hotel was a great find in the city center. Located between two subway stations, it was incredibly easy to get around and explore all that the city had to offer. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious enough to accommodate two luggages and the comfortable "occidental" beds ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, the reasonable prices and the fact that breakfast was included made our stay even more enjoyable.

I had a great stay at Hotel Gimmond. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the subway station which made it easy to explore Kyoto. The room was clean and had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and a reliable wireless Internet connection. The staff were accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
