I recently stayed at Grids Tokyo Asakusa-Bashi and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for exploring Tokyo, as it was very close to the metro. The neighborhood of Asakusabashi was a hidden gem, with plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. The hostel itself was great value for money, with comfortable beds and a cozy common area. The staff, especially Kanae, were extremely friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Unlike traditional Japanese hostels, this place had multiple rooms with horizontal bunk beds. the beds were comfortable, spacious, and even had shelves and outlets for charging. the hostel had personal lockers and conveniently located bathrooms. the breakfast offered was delicious, and the lobby area served as a cozy common space. the staff was friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations. the hostel was also equipped with a good laundry/dryer facility. the location was within walking distance to subway stations, making it convenient for exploring the city.
