It is easy to reach from JR Atami station, especially if you follow their instructions instead of relying on Google maps. Additionally, the guesthouse is situated in a prime spot for enjoying the Hanami viewing, as it offers a great view of the bay and has a rooftop with a perfect view of the fireworks. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided is both simple and tasty.

One downside is that the owner changed the time schedule for using the onsen hot spring, which caused inconvenience for some guests.

Spent New Year at a great guest house with friendly staff who sent me directions in advance, making my arrival smooth and easy. the rooftop was an amazing spot to see the New Year fireworks with a beautiful view of the bay. the guest house's location is convenient and only a short walk from the nearby station. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were tidy and comfy.

The only downsides were that the walls were a bit thin and didn't provide much soundproofing, so you could hear some noise from neighboring rooms. the guest house is located on a slight hill, which took a bit of effort to climb up to get there, but it was worth it in the end.
