I had a wonderful experience staying at a traditional Japanese house in Nara. The atmosphere was charming and the house itself was beautiful. The staff and other guests were friendly, creating a warm and inviting environment. Although the futons were a little thin, overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Great traditional Japanese experience with authentic rooms and atmosphere. Convenient location close to attractions and transportation. - Cosy and welcoming common area with friendly staff and guests.

The lack of cleanliness was a major issue, with the place needing a thorough vacuuming. Privacy was compromised in the shower due to a cracked door that made it feel exposed to the common area.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this guesthouse. the peaceful and traditional environment made for a wonderfully relaxing stay. the guesthouse is perfectly located near Nara Park, offering beautiful scenery and the chance to see adorable deer. the staff were kind and helpful, and the price was very reasonable. We loved the traditional and authentic feel of the century-old house, complete with a kotatsu and a beautiful Japanese garden. The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the main attractions. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, providing us with lots of information about the city.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful traditional Japanese guesthouse. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our time at the guesthouse. the house itself was stunning, with a lovely Japanese garden that we could admire from the common area. Our room was spacious and comfortable, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. the location was perfect, being close to Nara Park, Todaiji, and a major train station and bus stop.
