Loved the shared kitchen, perfect for pretending I can cook. Free WiFi meant I could post more selfies. The location was great, I could easily escape the noisy city and pretend I was a zen master.

The guesthouse had a stylish and minimalist interior, and our room had a great view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, and the shared facilities were always clean. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone passing through.

The uphill walk with luggage was a bit challenging, especially with the bus stop being at the bottom of the hill.

I had the most incredible stay at a charming hostel in a stunning location. The interior was beautifully designed, and the beds were so comfortable. The hostel had a great kitchen with all the utensils you need, and the location was perfect, right on the path to Tsumago. The breakfast provided was delicious and generous. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area.

The only minor inconvenience was the lack of curtains in my room, which allowed the early morning light to wake me up. However, the warm and cozy bed made up for it and ensured a good night's sleep.

We had a fantastic value for our money at Guesthouse Nedoko. The room was beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese style with comfortable futon beds, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere with the sound of the nearby river stream. The location was perfect, right on the main cobble road of Magome and along the Nakasendo trail. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations and even arranging a car ride for us when we needed it.
