The common areas, such as the lounge and garden, were beautifully designed and maintained, providing a pleasant place to relax and unwind. , the hotel's convenient location in a walkable area of Kyoto made it easy for senior people like me to explore the city and visit the nearby famous temples at our own pace.

I wish there were more handrails installed in the hotel to assist senior guests, especially in the staircases and hallways. This would have made navigating around the property even more secure and comfortable for us.

Our traditional room with tatami mats allowed us to continue our ryokan experience on a budget. the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of space to store our luggage. the owners were friendly and provided great recommendations for exploring the nearby old city.
