When I arrived at the Hachimantai Mountain Hotel & Spa, I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of check-in. The English translator made communication effortless, and the process was quick. I had reserved a dinner time, and I enjoyed a variety of delicious Japanese dishes. The on-site Onsen was a highlight, providing a truly relaxing experience. The room itself was comfortable, with twin beds and a cozy tatami area. The heating kept the room at a perfect temperature, and I appreciated the hot water and tea provided. The breakfast buffet offered both Western and Japanese options, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. I had a fantastic stay, and I would definitely consider returning to this hotel in the future.

While the pillows were a bit hard for my liking, it didn't significantly affect my overall experience at the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay in this spacious and modern resort hotel located right at the base of the beautiful Mt.Iwate. We loved the direct access to the ski resort, making it easy for us to hit the slopes without any hassles or time wasted. The rooms were clean and warm, and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We also enjoyed the onsen, which was changed twice a day, and the souvenir shop by the reception had some great finds.

Although the location was fantastic, we wished there were more convenience shops or supermarkets nearby. We found ourselves eating all of our meals at the hotel, which turned out to be more expensive than we expected.
