Hotel design is modern with large windows. Onsen facilities are traditional and enjoyable. Room has functional amenities and great views. Location is convenient and offers an authentic Japanese experience.

The private onsen was excellent, friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean room, delicious Japanese meals.

My stay at Gora Onsen Yumenoyu was absolutely superb! The hotel is nestled in a beautiful and tranquil wooded area, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was definitely the two osens, one for men and one for women. They were incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Even though the hotel is a bit far from the station, they provided rides between Gora and the hotel, which was a convenient and thoughtful service. I was particularly grateful when the staff went above and beyond by picking us up after hours one night. In a small town like Gora where businesses close early, I highly recommend ordering dinner and breakfast with the hotel. The traditional Japanese breakfast we ordered was incredibly delicious and satisfying. Gora Onsen Yumenoyu has a moderate character and sincerely does its job as a fantastic hotel.

The location is a bit far from the station, but it offers a short and lovely walk. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, explaining all the facilities clearly. The Japanese-style room was spacious and clean, with a private hot tub on the balcony for a relaxing soak. The breakfast had a great view of the woods, and the onsens were clean and relaxing.

Limited options for food in the area, and getting to the hotel is a bit of a hassle due to the ongoing renovation of the railway.

The open air bath in our room was the best thing of the hotel. It was so relaxing to enjoy it while looking at the beautiful view outside. the staff was also very kind and accommodating. They provided us with a ride to the nearby station, which was very helpful. the breakfast that they offered was also very delicious and satisfying.

There were some negative aspects of the hotel too. the public baths were not that great.
