Clean, safe environment with alcohol spray provided throughout and mandatory use. Beautiful, new hotel with amazing outdoor onsen. Reasonable prices for a public holiday weekend. Terrific, friendly staff, especially in the dining area. Lovely, remote location with helpful, English-speaking staff.

During my stay at this mountain retreat in Hakone, I had a wonderful experience. The location, nestled in the mountains of Hakone, provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The spacious room had a traditional Japanese touch, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the culture. The private onsen option was a highlight, offering soothing relaxation. The staff members were courteous and helpful, ensuring that everything worked out well. The delicious breakfast with a substantial lineup left me feeling satisfied, ready for a day of adventure. this hotel provided a memorable and authentic Japanese experience.

One drawback was the distance from Odawara, which required taking a longer bus service if arriving late in the afternoon.

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the beautiful Kanagawa prefecture, not far from the Askinoko lake. The hotel provided us with top-notch service, from the efficient housekeeping to the helpful staff at the 24-hour reception. The room amenities were excellent as well, with a comfortable sitting area, in-room safe, and a flat-screen TV for our entertainment. The towels were soft and plentiful, and we appreciated the electric kettle for making hot drinks. The dining bar/lounge area was a great place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.

We would highly recommend this place to our friends.

Absolutely loved the traditional Japanese room with a view of the forest. the onsen was amazing and very clean. the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very kind. Walking distance to Togendai station was convenient.

Communication was difficult due to language barriers, but the staff still tried their best to help. There were limited dinner options and nearby towns closed early.
