The location of Hakuba Sun Valley Hotel Annex was absolutely perfect for our ski trip. We were just steps away from the chairlift and the ski rental shops, making it incredibly convenient for us to hit the slopes every day. The hotel staff were also extremely helpful, providing us with valuable information about transportation and ski activities in the area. They even went the extra mile to assist me in renting a snowboard despite the language barrier. Additionally, they kindly drove us to the bus stop for our departure to Tokyo.

Although there were a few drawbacks, like limited food options and inconsistent water temperature in the shower, these minor issues did not overshadow the exceptional location and the superb assistance from the hotel staff. I highly recommend the Hakuba Sun Valley Hotel Annex for any ski enthusiasts looking for a prime location and helpful service.

During my Easter stay at a ski resort in Japan, I found that the staff were helpful and efficient with fluent English. the hotel was located in a very strategic spot, only a few minutes walk from the ski lift and shuttle bus station. the rooms were neat and comfortable. the hotel provided a simple and filling breakfast and delicious hot pot dinners were also available daily.

There were some minor negative aspects of the trip. most of the restaurants nearby had an early closing time, which was a bit inconvenient.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable for ski enthusiasts. It is incredibly close to the ski slopes, allowing for quick and easy access to the Hakuba Goryu and Hakuba 47 resorts. With stunning mountain views and convenient access to the Valley bus stop, it is the perfect base for exploring the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with amenities such as heated toilet seats and hot showers. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

Excellent location near ski/snowboard schools, lift & slope. English-speaking staff, helpful with rentals and transportation options. Spacious, clean rooms. Good breakfast for ¥800. Free room upgrade and late check out. a great experience.
