We had a fantastic stay at Hida Hotel Plaza in Takayama. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and downtown area. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with twin beds that provided a good night's sleep. The breakfast options were great, with both Japanese and Western choices available. The hot spring baths were a wonderful way to relax after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, comfortable rooms, and excellent amenities.

As a woman traveling alone, I loved the big and clean room, the spacious and comfortable bed, and the hot spring with its incredible view and jacuzzi. It was such a treat!

It felt like our own home, no complaints at all.

Great location, 5-10 minute walk to train and bus stations, and close to main sights in town. Friendly and efficient staff. the hotel arranged for our bags to be sent ahead to our next destination without us having to remind them.

The beds were a bit too hard for our preference. Snowy conditions made it difficult to get to and from the station with our luggage, and the staff didn't offer much assistance in finding an alternative.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The onsen was amazing, and we enjoyed using it in the morning and night. The location was convenient, within walking distance of the railway station and tourist areas. The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff was excellent and friendly. The in-house izakaya restaurant was great, and they even accommodated us when we came in late after watching the fireworks festival. a comfortable stay with lots of amenities and a great staff.

Convenient location near the railway station and main shopping road. the hotel is within walking distance of the old streets of Hida. the staff were professional, well-trained, and attentive to guest needs. the hotel offers a variety of onsen options, including an outdoor onsen with magnificent city and mountain views. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a view of the train tracks. the hotel provides 2-piece pyjamas instead of yukata, which was a nice touch.

The rooms were small and lacked power points, but bringing an extension cord helped solve the issue. the breakfast was fairly basic and more suited for those who enjoy Japanese breakfasts.
