Additionally, the rooms may be small, but they are well laid out, comfortable, clean. I appreciated the attention to detail with amenities like the complimentary tea, sweets, and water. And let's not forget the free smartphone provided in the room, which was a game-changer for navigating the city. this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money, location, and amenities.

We had a great stay at Hotel 1899. The room layout made it feel much bigger than it actually was, and everything was impeccably clean. The location was just right - close enough to the train station to be convenient, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The complimentary snacks and amenities were a nice touch, and we loved the Toto toilet! The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested a later check-out due to my partner not feeling well. Despite a few minor drawbacks like limited vegetarian breakfast options and the use of plastic utensils, we would definitely recommend this lovely boutique hotel for its value and comfortable accommodations.

We had a fantastic stay at 1899 Tokyo! the hotel had a premium feel and the rooms, although small, were well-designed and comfortable. the amenities provided were top-notch, the bed linen was crisp and cozy, and everything was spotlessly clean. the staff went above and beyond, offering smart options like self-checkout and providing a local mobile phone. the breakfast buffet, with its tea-themed selection, was delicious, and we particularly enjoyed the variety of vegetarian options. the location was perfect, with Shimbashi station nearby and a quiet hotel street despite being surrounded by many restaurants.

I had a truly exceptional stay at Hotel 1899. The room was incredibly comfortable, exceeding Japan’s standards. I appreciated the quiet location, while still being within close proximity to restaurants, bars, and the metro. One highlight of my stay was the tea ceremony provided by the hotel. The staff was exceptionally trained in Japanese traditions, making it a truly memorable experience. Despite a minor incident with my toothbrush, the overall experience at Hotel 1899 was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

The bathroom was excellent, complete with those amazing toilets that "do everything." We also appreciated the well-stocked bottled water and teas in the room.
