The hotel provided a warm and welcoming stay during my Christmas vacation. the complimentary guided tour and sake tasting were the cherry on top of a great experience. the hotel's location was also excellent - it was conveniently located near subway and bus transportation. Another plus was the local grown food provided for breakfast.

The hotel is located right in the middle of Gion, which makes it very easy to get to places. It is also very close to the metro line, historic places of interest, and the river. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed, with great bathrooms. The staff is friendly and speaks multiple languages. Breakfast offers a good choice of options, including Japanese food. Additionally, the hotel offers elegant design features and excellent soundproofing.

The hotel could improve by adding blackout curtains above the bed to block out the constant light from outside.
