The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere with modern facilities and a cozy wooden decor. The breakfast is delightful and varied. The rooms are renovated and the bathrooms are exceptional. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station.

We absolutely loved the cozy and intimate atmosphere of Grand Vert Kyu. The lobby lounge with the warm fireplace and soothing music was the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring Karuizawa. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with our luggage, even though there was no elevator. The spacious room with comfortable beds and a tatami area was perfect for our family of four. The convenient location near the JR station and main shopping street made it easy for us to get around. we highly recommend this hotel for its charm and friendly staff.

We stayed at a hotel that was conveniently located near the main shopping street and there were convenience stores just across the road. The room had a large and beautiful bathroom, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed the view from our room. the hotel had great facilities and advantages such as a cosy lounge area with a fireplace and soothing music at night.

There was only one convenience store nearby, which limited our options for evening activities.

We celebrated New Year's Eve in a cozy hotel plucked from a storybook. the welcoming staff set high standards with hot drinks and delicious treats offered. the hotel’s location was in a small town that looks like it is cut out of a postcard. We could watch the snow fall silently in the park just outside the hotel, while we were sipping from our freshly brewed coffee. the hot bath was like the cherry on top, warmed our bones up before sleeping.

This made sleeping troublesome since the room felt like a furnace. the pillows were a bit too firm for our liking, and the bed could have been more comfortable.
