This hotel is perfectly located, with easy access to Kyoto station. It's in a quiet area but still close to the bustling Gion area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with three single beds and a great view of the gardens on the fifth floor. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The breakfast offers a good selection, although it would be nice to see more variety or additional fruit options.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Il Verde. The staff was welcoming and cheerful, making us feel at home during our entire stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to both the train station and fantastic little restaurants. We especially loved the beautiful canal nearby, leading us to authentic bars and a lovely stroll. And the happy hour at the hotel was a delightful bonus, with free coffee, tea, and soft drinks on tap in the lobby. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the park and even catching a glimpse of Kyoto Tower. our experience was fabulous, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We highly recommend this hotel for its great value for money. The hotel offers a free happy hour and complimentary soft drinks, coffee, and tea all day. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk from the train station, making it very convenient for transportation to all the places you may want to go. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Sabita Bhandari, who assisted us in finding quick and easy routes for sightseeing.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, but still within walking distance of many attractions. Plus, they have a coin laundry. The breakfast was also great!

The strong smell coming from the building next door. It didn't really affect our stay, but it was still noticeable every time we entered and exited the hotel.
