We chose to stay here for our ski holiday and it was a great decision. The location is perfect, just across from the ski lifts and gondola. The onsen was excellent and a perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist us, despite the language barrier. a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The room was lovely and clean, with Western mattresses on the tatami mats that were surprisingly comfortable. the public onsen was fabulous, providing a great experience of soaking in hot springs under the snow.

The breakfast could have had a bit more variety, especially for guests staying for longer periods of time.

The hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the ski lifts, and there was a convenience store nearby that came in handy. the onsen was a highlight, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that was perfect for soothing sore muscles after skiing. Plus, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Another drawback was that we were not always accommodated in the main dining area, and sometimes we were relegated to a smaller room with other foreigners. It was also disappointing that there were no seafood options for our main dishes, as we observed other guests receiving seafood sets.

I was initially skeptical when I saw the exterior of the hotel, but once inside, I was amazed by the renovated rooms. I was lucky enough to stay in the VIP rooms on the upper floor, which had a beautiful design and a cozy atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was definitely the Onsen, an old wooden bath that was incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating. I had a wonderful experience at Takamiya Hotel Lucent and would highly recommend it.
