stayed at a hotel in okayama but maira blew my mind! loved the convenient location near the JR station, comfy bed and pillow, and the lovely neighborhood for walks by the river. also, the complimentary coffee, ice cream, and breakfast buns were the perfect start to each day. great wifi too!

I really got great value for my money at Hotel Maira in Okayama. The room was clean, comfy, and had all the basics I needed. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to convenient stores and attractions. The staff were extremely nice and helpful throughout my stay.

the staff at the hotel, Maira, were incredibly nice and friendly. They even took one night off our bill when our flight was delayed. the hotel offered free bread in the morning and a variety of hot drinks, soft drinks, water, and ice cream throughout the day. the clean room on the 8th floor provided a lovely view of a small park. the location was convenient, being just a 5-minute walk from the train station.

We stayed at a cute hotel in Japan that was great for budget travelers. the staff at Maira Hotel were extremely helpful and kind. the location was convenient, with a short walk to the station and restaurant/bar district. the hotel rooms were cozy, but surprisingly clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find free coffee and bread for breakfast, even though we hadn't booked it. They also had free ice cream, soft drinks, and coffee available in the lobby throughout the day. a great experience for the price we paid.
