Breakfast was different each day, mixing Western and Japanese styles. the staff were really helpful with our forwarded bags. the drying room for ski gear was a lifesaver. Nearby restaurants were all top, notch. the location is prime, steps from the lifts and bus stops. My room had an authentic Japanese, Western style. Men's onsen comfortably fits 3. Small bathroom and lumpy mattress were the only downsides. Kerosene heater gave me a bit of a chilly wake, up call! .

The view from my room was even better than the photos. DEFINITELY coming back! .

Loved the cozy hybrid room with a spacious layout. the location was key, just across from the gondola and a short walk to the village. The staff were super accommodating and went above and beyond to assist with our needs. Cons: the bathroom was on the smaller side, even for Japan. the breakfast menu could have had more variety.

Featuring a flat-screen TV, our room at the hotel was a cozy sanctuary. It was like having our private cinema after a day of skiing. We basked in the warmth, feeling as if we were in a movie scene, complete with complimentary green tea bags.

the location was perfect, just a street over from the lifts and gondola, with a shuttle bus conveniently across the street. the on-site hire shop and large drying room were very convenient for our ski gear. the staff went above and beyond to assist, making our stay enjoyable and hassle-free. Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience. the location is prime, just a stone's throw away from the Akakura ski area and a short distance from other popular ski resorts in the region. the staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to go out of their way to assist you with anything you need. the rooms are cozy, with their own heating units and spacious enough to relax comfortably after a long day on the slopes. the option to hire ski equipment and the convenience of a large drying room add to the overall convenience of the stay.

The communal area tends to be quite chilly, making it less inviting to hang out in. access to the onsen is limited until later in the afternoon, which might not suit everyone's schedule.
