During my Christmas stay in Kyoto, I had an amazing experience at this hotel. Firstly, the location was perfect. It was just a short walk from the train station, making it convenient to explore the city. Secondly, the rooms were beautifully designed with a modernized Japanese style. The tatami floor and thoughtful amenities added a touch of authenticity to my stay. Additionally, the staff were extremely polite and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my time at the hotel.

Although my overall experience was fantastic, I did have a minor issue with the breakfast service. The restaurant, while offering a good variety of dishes, had not very friendly service.

This hotel was a great find in terms of value for money. The room rates were reasonable, especially considering the modern and tasteful design of the rooms. I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail in the interior design, which created a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. The location of the hotel near Shijo station exit 6 was perfect for exploring the city. Despite being in a quiet area, there were plenty of bars and restaurants within minutes' walk from the hotel, offering a variety of dining options. The staff were also very helpful and provided excellent service. Another plus point was the fact that the hotel has rooms on the 5th floor, which is also the top floor, offering great views of the city skyline.

The hotel is conveniently located near many bus stops and subway lines, making transportation a breeze. We enjoyed being close to a variety of restaurants, allowing us to easily explore different dining options. this hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing experience after long days of exploring the city.

Convenient location, only a short walk to the city centre. the hotel is peaceful and quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. the cozy and modern interior adds to the overall atmosphere of the place. the staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home.

The layout of the hotel is a bit inconvenient, with multiple elevators required to reach your room. During peak tourist season, this could lead to delays.

The room was beautifully designed, blending traditional elements with modern comfort. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing little toiletry bags and daily water bottles. the hotel's location was convenient, close to a subway station and within walking distance of popular tourist sites and restaurants. One of the highlights was borrowing umbrellas from the hotel, which came in handy during our Christmas stay.

The breakfast options were limited and not very tasty. Additionally, the air and ventilation in the room seemed to be problematic.

The hotel had modern design, clean rooms, helpful staff, convenient vending machines, good charging plugs, Isamu Noguchi lamps.

Not obvious to find.

As young holiday goers, we loved the friendly and helpful staff, the clean and beautifully scented rooms, and the daily supply of toiletries and water bottles. The hotel also provided umbrellas and was conveniently located near a train station and Nishiki Market. The bed and pillows were comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, we were able to take a day trip to Magome, which was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from both Shijo and Karasuma train stations. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and getting around. There were also several restaurants and shops nearby, so we never had to go far for a good meal or some shopping. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful Japanese-Western style design. We loved the traditional touches, like the option to make our own matcha and the bath powder provided. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were always ready to assist us. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. our experience was fantastic and we would highly recommend this hotel.

The only downside we encountered was that the bed frames had sharp edges, which resulted in a few accidental bumps and bruises. It would be great if the hotel could consider using rounded edges instead to prevent any potential injuries.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Resol Kyoto Shijo Muromachi. The front office staff were friendly and spoke fluent English. The room was cozy and had a lovely aesthetic. The location was perfect, and we were able to easily explore the city. The coffee machine in the room was a great touch, and we looked forward to using it every night. Additionally, we were able to conveniently purchase a bus day pass at the front desk.

Although the majority of the room was spotless, we did notice some areas in the bathroom that were not cleaned properly, such as the gap between the toilet seat and the tank. The room itself was quite dim, making it a bit challenging to see when applying makeup.

The best aspects of this hotel were its cleanliness, convenient location near transportation options, and proximity to popular attractions such as Gion, Nishiki Market, and main shopping streets. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and the staff was very helpful. Transportation was easy since the hotel was located near the Kurasama Subway and important bus lines, making it convenient to explore the city. Additionally, there were plenty of convenient stores and eateries around the area, providing a wide range of dining options.

I recently stayed at Hotel Resol and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure that each room was impeccably cleaned. I loved the traditional design of the room, and the complimentary matcha tea and espresso were a great touch. The laundry room, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom were also highlights of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Resol Kyoto Shijo Muromachi was a peaceful and comfortable place to stay in Kyoto. The room was well-designed and had all the necessary amenities. Despite the small size, it didn't feel cramped at all. The prompt email responses and helpful front desk staff were a bonus. The breakfast was enjoyable and the staff were friendly.

Although the room was dimly lit, it wasn't a big issue as the sunlight filled the room during the day. The internet connectivity at night was a bit difficult, but we had rented a portable WiFi device which helped.
