My recent stay at Hotel Sonia was absolutely delightful. I stayed for a few days during my winter vacation and was impressed by the professional and English-speaking front desk staff. They were attentive to my needs and even arranged to have my bags delivered to my room when it became available. The location of the hotel was also a major advantage, with the resort link bus dropping me off right at the hotel's doorstep. From the top level, I had a breathtaking view of the canal through the large glass window. The lobby and coffee shop had a classic and warm ambiance, and the hotel staff were friendly and professional. Additionally, the breakfast offered a delicious variety of food options.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at Hotel Sonia in Otaru. The canal view room was perfect for enjoying The Snow Light Path Festival. We could watch the snowfall from our cozy sitting area. The onsen facilities were clean and well-equipped, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location was convenient, just a short walk to the JR Station and shopping streets. We can't thank them enough for their helpfulness and hospitality.

The view from the room was impressive, and it made us feel relaxed and calm. the staff tried their best to help us with information on how to get to the places we wanted to visit. the breakfast and sushi were appetizing, and the sizes of the beds were good. It was located near a site that we wanted to visit, which we enjoyed.

The room was too small for three people, and it was challenging to open up our luggage. There was unnecessary furniture in the room, which could have been helpful in terms of space.
