We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms at Star Plaza Ikebukuro. They were much bigger than other Japanese hotels we've stayed at. The staff was also very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Despite the language barrier, they tried their best to assist us with everything we needed. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, providing a nice affordable option for exploring the city and its surroundings. we would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay in Tokyo.

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station. the staff was really friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was good. the rooms were bigger than expected and always clean.

The bed was really hard and uncomfortable, and the air conditioning was quite noisy. the language barrier made it a bit difficult to communicate with the staff.

Located in a back alley with some special bars, this hotel is in a fantastic location in central Tokyo near the Yamanote circle line. It is very close to Ikebukuro Subway station, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily, with spacious bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. guests can enjoy a good breakfast and fast WiFi, along with the option to leave luggage for a day.

The hotel lacks a coin laundry facility, requiring guests to walk a few blocks to find one.
