Great price, location, breakfast selection. Helpful staff, prompt comforter change, quiet despite busy street. Large rooms, big soft beds, huge bathroom with deep tub and toiletries. Friendly staff, good vegetarian breakfast, superb location close to Gion district.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The hotel's location was perfect for my stay, as it was near the bus stop and within walking distance of the sights I wanted to see. it was conveniently situated in the Gion district, allowing me to experience the traditional atmosphere of Kyoto. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and all the necessary amenities. The staff provided excellent service, ensuring a hassle-free stay. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options, including both Japanese and Western cuisine.

The restaurant upstairs was closed, limiting dining options within the hotel.

Attentive staff, excellent service. Room fits two luggage. Spacious bathroom with unexpected bathtub. Comfortable beds. Close to bus stops and popular tourist spots. Will stay again!

I was a bit skeptical when I arrived at the hotel as it didn't look impressive from the outside, but my 5-night stay at Hotel Sunline Kyoto Gion Shijo proved to be excellent. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering everything I needed. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from attractions and a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it easy to explore the city. The staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. Despite their limited English, they made every effort to assist me. The hotel also provided good WiFi, which was a big plus. I had a great experience and would highly recommend Hotel Sunline Kyoto Gion Shijo for its expensive but excellent rooms and convenient location.

The hotel we stayed in was victoriously located. It was a walking distance from the downtown and some of the main tourist attractions. It was easy to access by bus as there was a bus stop right outside the hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful, and proficient in English. The breakfast offered was truly fantastic and included a wide variety of delectable food choices.

The hotel room was far from spacious and offered poor air circulation making it rather stuffy. The bed we had was also much too hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, which made it difficult for us to sleep through the night.
