Great value for money with impeccably clean rooms, stunning views, and convenient location. the staff at Torifito Canal were exceedingly pleasant and accommodating.

For breakfast choices, more variety in the menu would enhance the overall dining experience.

I stayed at Hotel Torifito Otaru Canal for leisure for three nights. the kind staff provided umbrellas during rain, excellent location near attractions, and the best yogurt! the Korean staff was exceptional. the Japanese-style room with tatami was a unique experience, lovely bathhouse drawings, and close to transportation.

I recommend this hotel.

Great location at the intersection of Sakaimachi Street and Chuo-dori, near Otaru Canal. Walkable distance to JR Otaru and many attractions. Fantastic facilities, helpful staff, and spacious, new rooms. Nearby eateries and parking available.

We were pleased with the cafe right across the hotel that served good coffee and breakfast for a very affordable price. Another complementary feature that we enjoyed was the public bath on the ground floor. the hotel was located within walking distance to popular tourist attractions and shopping districts, which was very convenient for us.

The rooms were quite small, with barely any space to move around. We also didn't particularly like the fact that there was a barrel in the middle of the room that took up valuable space.

Our stay at Torifito Otaru Canal was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was clean and spacious, providing a relaxing environment. The onsen, although small, was a great amenity to have, especially in the cold weather. We also appreciated the complimentary DIY drinks in the evening, adding a nice touch to the hospitality. we would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Otaru.

I had a fantastic stay at a comfortable and clean hotel. The location was amazing, right by the canal and with a lovely cafe across the road serving great coffee. The room was quiet and had a nautical theme, with sufficient space and a clean bathroom. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh options.

It would have been helpful if the hotel had explained the need for a buffet ticket to purchase coffee in the morning.

As a tourist, I loved the clean and new rooms at the Hotel Torifito. The tatami bed was a unique feature that allowed for more space in the room. The staff, although not fluent in English, were still able to communicate effectively. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the canal, shopping street, fish market, and JR station. Having a Family Mart nearby was also convenient. The free onsen on the first floor was a great bonus, complete with toothbrushes provided in the onsen room. Lastly, the free coffee in the afternoon was a nice touch.

Felt very well taken care of, nothing to complain about.
