Excellent facilities - private hot spa, karaoke room, and helpful staff. Traditional room with tatami mats and futons. Enormous breakfast presented to the highest standards. Useful link to local restaurants, but the nearby Izakaya is highly recommended. Highlight of our trip, highly recommended as a base to visit Snow Monkeys.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The staff here were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We especially loved the private open-air bath, which provided enhanced relaxation and serenity. Despite the tub being a bit small for taller guests, it was still quite comfortable. The private western-style toilet and shower in the room added to the convenience and luxury. The futons provided were incredibly comfy, allowing us to have a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location, being close to a Lawson convenience store and the train station, was a major plus.

My stay at Tsubakino was fantastic! I loved the traditional Japanese rooms, complete with futon beds and traditional garments. The warm welcome and house rules made me feel like I was truly experiencing Japanese culture. The breakfast served in a traditional way was absolutely fantastic. The location was great for visiting the snow monkeys, and the private Onsen was a lovely addition. I highly recommend this hotel - an unforgettable experience!

The breakfast is a highlight, with a wide selection of delicious dishes. And don't forget to enjoy the rooftop onsen, where you can relax and take in the stunning mountain views.
